While the path is quite photogenic, the views are mostly blocked by trees all along the trail.
How To Get There:
Get out of Exit D: Lee Tung Avenue at Wan Chai station and walk straight towards Queen's Road East (image 1).
Enter Hopewell Centre from across the road (image 2). From inside the building, take the elevator to the 17th floor. Exit the building on your left to arrive at Kennedy Road. Turn left and walk towards Wan Chai Gap Road.
The beginning of the trail (image 3) will be on your right with a signpost (image 4).
Hiking Directions:
After the first stretch of the steep slope, there will be a rest stop with a pavilion (image 6). Keep going upwards from the stop (image 5). Another option is to go and check out the Lover's Rock first!
Keep going ahead from the map stop (image 7). Don't turn right. You will reach the end of the hike in about 5-10 minutes.
From the main road, turn left to go to a bus stop with several buses back to the city.
If you'd like, you can check out The Police Museum which is housed in the former Wan Chai Gap Police Station nearby.
Another option is to continue hiking to Aberdeen Reservoir (~additional 1.5 hours).
